Back in 1948, when our founders, the Draps family, had just unveiled the first ever Godiva flagship boutique in Brussels' famous Grand Place, Belgium was a disheartened nation. Suffering the after-effects of WWII, little luxuries were in short supply as the country endeavoured to return to a normal way of life.

Luckily, the enterprising Draps family came up with a wonderful way to bring some fun back to their fellow Belgians by setting up a fleet of vans to deliver handmade chocolates around the city. Painted a cheerful shade of pink, the vehicles were intended to lift spirits and help inject a sense of fun and indulgence back into Brussels.
